NIGEL CLARKE
Nigel

Nigel Clarke graduated from Bristow Academy in 1995. After working as a flight instructor to build up his flight time he converted his FAA licenses to CAA CPL(H) and flew with Bristow on the North Sea before joining Bond Air services flying their EC135 in Glasgow on EMS and police work. Nigel is now flying an MD 902 for Humberside Police based at Leconfield, England. As a police employee Nigel receives all of their benefits and is well paid. A lot of the work is done at night and he averages about 50 hours per month.

KEVIN IACOVONI

KevinKevin Iacovoni flies for East Bay Regional Parks.

"The East Bay Regional Park District is located in the San Francisco Bay Area and is comprised of 65 parks, with more than 1,100 miles of trails covering nearly 95,000 acres (the size of the state of Rhode Island). The highest elevation within the Park system is Rose Peak, just under 4000 feet.

We currently operate two AS350's flying an average of 1400 hours a year. All of our Pilots are sworn California Peace Officers, and all of our pilots have been either students or employees of Bristow Academy in the past. I work a four 10-hour day shift pattern, flying an average of 5 hours a day and available 24/7 if needed. Our unit has a training requirement of annual recurring training at American Eurocopter and night touchdown autorotation training at an additional facility. This Unit has been operating for 25 years starting with a Bell 47 in 1978. Since then we've progressed through 6 aircraft and are looking forward to our 7th, which is on the drawing board.

My flying responsibilities include, Law Enforcement, SAR, EMS and Firefighting. Additional duties include the Tactical Flight Officer (TFO or Observer) position which requires skilled use of special equipment such as, gyro stabilized camera systems with FLIR or Forward Looking Inferred, a GPS moving map system, nightsun spotlight, and numerous radios which keep us quite busy."
