Locations

Space Coast Regional AirportBristow Academy ’s primary training facility is located in Titusville, Florida. The vast majority of the school’s training occurs at this location. With approximately 40 aircraft, flight simulators, and multiple classrooms, the school is well equipped to provide sophisticated training. Approximately 100 of the school’s staff are based at the Florida location, including more than 50 flight instructors and 7 full-time ground instructors. The Florida location is FAA Part 141 approved and is the accredited school of Bristow Academy, Inc.

Space Coast Regional AirportThe Bristow Academy New Iberia campus is at the heart of Bristow’s biggest commercial base and the headquarters of Air Logistics.  It is ideally located for individuals currently living in Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama.  Operating out of Vortex Heliport, an 11,000 square foot site, the New Iberia campus consists of an administrative office and maintenance facility.  There is a computerized testing room with capacity to administer 3 FAA knowledge tests at one time, as well as classrooms and briefing areas.

The New Iberia campus is approved by the VA for use of the GI Bill.  Funding is available from the Louisiana Technical College, Teche Area Campus.

The New Iberia campus is not an accredited school, but is a satellite base of Bristow Academy’s Part 141 approval.  Training can be provided in all of the school’s regular courses and students will have the option of taking specialized courses, such as external load and mountain flying, at either of the other 2 US campuses.

Training is also available in Concord, California, the original home base of the school. Although primarily a commercial operations base the Concord location continues to provide a limited amount of training services. The Concord location is NOT an accredited school, but is a satellite base of Bristow Academy’s Part 141 approval. Training can be provided in all of the school’s regular courses, but career oriented, full-time students are strongly encouraged to take their training at the Florida location. One of the most interesting aspects of Bristow AcademyConcord operations is its connection to the Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Air Support Unit. Since 1997 Bristow Academy has provided pilots, maintenance, and a home base for the Sheriff’s helicopters, currently a Bell 407 and a Bell 206. For more information on this program click here.
